    characteristics of circular motion-:

Uniform circular motion( UCM)-:  During circular motion if the speed of the particle remains constant is called as uniform circular motion.

-:The acceleration responsible for this motion is along the rediac and towards the center is called as centripetal acceleration

UCM its magnitude is constant and its given by-:   

Illustration-: circular motion of any particles of a fan rotating uniformly.

Non-uniform circular motion-: The circular motion in which speed is not constant is called as non-uniform circular motion.
